2010
BCS champion Auburn finished atop the base RPR following an undefeated season and boasting one of the top SOS ratings for the season. However, the Tigers weren’t the only team in play, as undefeated TCU found themselves within the CCT cutoff along with Boise State and Ohio State. The Horned Frogs tied Auburn with the best Win % and topped the Tigers in Score Ratio with the 2nd-best rating in that category. Boise State and Ohio State had better Score Ratios than Auburn, but lagged behind the Tigers in the other categories. Therefore, I believe TCU meets criteria to claim co-champion status with Auburn.
