2009

2009 saw Alabama return to prominence, finishing atop the RPR after an undefeated season capped by a victory over Texas in the BCS Championship Game. The Crimson Tide were tied for the best Win %, and finished in the top 3 in SOS and Score Ratio. Florida was the only team that fell in the CCT cutoff, but with failing to top Alabama in most categories and with a head-to-head loss factored in, they didn’t warrant serious consideration.
