The Volunteers tied for the best Win % following their first undefeated season in 60 years and finished with Top 12 of SOS and Score Ratio. Four other teams (Ohio State, Florida State, Kansas State, and Wisconsin) finished within the CCT cutoff – mostly due to higher Score Ratios – but when analyzing those teams against the Vols, Tennessee was safe as the lone team atop the ratings.
